Color Tracking is a test of monitor quality. The screen is set to display a single color and "color temperature" -- a measure of color is measured in various parts of the screen while the brightness is changed from 100% to 25% in 25% steps. The measurement is converted to a single number -- a "Gap Score" which sums the variation in color temperature with brightness. Good Scores might be around 600 degrees Kelvin.
